|抄録（en）: ||Recently we had a chance to investigate a rare case of silicosis，which occurred after a very short period of engagement in dusty works.
Patient: Named H. Tsubura， 25 Years old，teacher of a middle school， was diagnosed as miliary tuberculosis by the annual medical examination of his school.
As he had no subjective signs，he visited our clinic.
History of occupation; He was employed in a foundry shop for 10 months from April 1937 to January 1938. He suffered from cough and fatigue at the end of January 1938， and left the shop，engaging in no dusty work thereafter.
Clinically we found no serious changes. Vital capacity was measured to be 3400 c.c.
Time of breath holding was 67 sec. Blood-sedimentation rate was 2mm. Tuberculin reaction was negative. X-ray examination revealed a pin-head-sized scattering shadows in all parts of the both lungs， showing， however， no noticeable alterations compared with x-ray findings of 1938.
Results of blood-urine examinations and the respiratory gas exchange test at rest and during muscular exercise were within the normal range.|
